Canon Powershot A60 ? :dunno:

Yes I support A60:thumbsup:
But my sugession.. put a few more dollars and buy an used A70 or similar. 2 MP of A60 might not be of too much use if you EVER plan to print your photos.

Hi to all; I need your input on this.

What's the best DC I can get with S$400 (that's the max)? I'm asking on behalf of my friend.

TIA! ;)

Second hand A40 ???

2Mp can easily print up to 6R size, you can even print up to 8R.

I also support the A60, except that $400 might be insufficient as you need to add on memory + batteries + charger. If $400 is the total budget, suggest you look at the Nikon 2500.

think the closest 3mp with zoom is the olympus c350..
else the panasonic lc20 also not too bad.

New A70 is $500-520.

Usual stuff like cables n such, and with a 16MB CF i think... software should be Canon's zoombrowser ... not sure if PS Elements in also in...

A brand new A60 should be closer to the $400, than a A70.

A60 should be able to get for $400+.

Add in a cheapo 64Mb low speed CF, for $30-40?

I wouldn't want to try the Samsungs, Pentax, Kyocera...etc out there in the $400 range.

Would rather get a A60, (at least Canon has got a higher resale value)

oh yeah... throw in an extra 100 and get A70. I am planning to get one soon. Just give me a few more months.

by the way, a 3 mega pixel camera can print up to what size of photos and not get distorted?

I last heard it was A4... any bigger than that and still look perfect???
