So far the ones I tasted while in Muar (near Melaka) was the best. My friend in Muar says the Otak Otak there is the best.

mmmm CS can organise a trip there.:bsmilie:

Homemake best.

i think big otak has higher 'shiok' factor. hehe!

definitely otah from MUAH is the best ;)

not ALL otahs from MUAH are the same though...

but most of them are big and good...... can eat as a meal replacement itself!
;p

I dont know. Maybe they add some extra ingredients. hahaha

It just taste better. Most of the otah here have too much flour added I think. The ones I tasted from MUAR can really taste the fish and its spicy.

lol

erm... :embrass:

sollie lar, long time neber balek that part of M'sia liao

half the time i'm in Kampar/Ipoh ;)

:D

MUAR MUAR MUAR MUAR MUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUARMUAR MUAR MUAR :p

the otahs there are big and contains alot of fishmeat (from batang/mackeral). its like taking a fillet of fish and adding the spices and paste inbetween as compared to those dried and shrivelled up banana leaf otah wannabes in SG where u get mostly flavouring + spices + shitloads of flour to make that.

u can get those seafood mix ones in MUAR oso ...got prawn, sotong lar, fish blah blah blah

steam it, and it shouldn't be sooooooo super oily. thats the good ones from Muar.

the ones that are okay to taste but not as good are those that leaks shitloads of palm oil when u steam the otah :)

thanks for the info. btw, at muar, how much do they sell each otah for?

actually I think Nam San Otah is quite good.
their number is 63455542 and they do deliveries as well. ;)

Sorry, went there twice. But so many stalls...which one is the best ley?

The rojak from Muar also quite famous
