Hi cs-ers,

Do any1 of you have any idea why when i insert my BG-E8 alkaline battery tray with 6 AA batterys into my battery grip the screen asked me to change my battery pack when i used new batteries from NTUC any idea why and how to solve?

Check the voltage with a multi-meter; the voltage is probably low. Also check the polarity, you may have install it wrongly.

Also, "new from NTUC" does not mean the batteries are really new. They might have spent some time already on shelf or stored wrongly, exposed to heat ..

OMG i using GP so i tink is about e voltage and what about it does it mean that i must only use a certain volt battery?

Get a voltmeter and check the voltage. Fresh alkalines should be about 1.5..1.6V. One half-empty one is enough to bring down the total voltage of all batteries in the pack.

Does that mean that i shud use new batteries?
