Best Place to take Photo Classes

Hi I've been doing searching on the web to figure out the best place to take intermediate to advanced photo classes. My main concern is that I am able to take classes somewhere that I'll gain much better insight than I would if I just picked up a book and read it myself.

The three places I've come across include:

• Photographic Society of Singapore
• Objectifs
• Black Box Photography

Does anyone have experience with these? Would you strongly recommend any of these? Are there others you would recommend?

u missed one more - The Photographers' Gallery at Hill street.

IMO, its not so much abt the places, but who's the instructor(s) for the particular course(s) u are interested in. eg - objectifs' lecturers, IIRC, are mainly local working pros (eg Bryan van der Beek), and some of PSS's lecturers are award winning fine art photogs (eg Steven Yee). these people dun necessary stick to one school/institution. so, check out who's teaching b4 applying.

Nightwolf75 is not a bad instructor though (if he decided to teach).

Can try Stanley Lim Color Centre at Middle Road too.

As mentioned by NW75, besides the instructor, you need to understand what course you are signing on. No one school is good in all. Just like Universities...

Tried SLCC before it's quite good and rather flexible if you cant make it for some sessions, there's always RT

Just in case you even thought of going.... NEVER CHOOSE NAFA!!!!

Their course sucks!!! I learn more here then in their part-time courses there!!!

Heard about them from a friend too, it's more commercialised then a place to pick up skills
