On top of that I would say the Parisilk outlets are very reputable too.

I prefer:

TK Foto
Orient Photo
SLR Revolution

From past experience.

Alan Photo sometimes will chop, Cathay will usually have stock but is a bit more expensive, J3:16, don't like their style. MS Colour is just out of the way for me.

i go to whoever offers me the lowest/most reasonable price, mainly:

TK Foto
MS Colour
Cathay Photo

for SLRR, J3:16, i don't like the way they work. OP, i haven't try them yet.

Cathay prices are higher when you walk in for a quote, however, the e-quotes that I've gotten from them are lower than the other shops most of the time.

Ah. I did have trouble getting a ND106 from them for a reasonable price recently (~30-40% more than anywhere else, even with an e-quote and reminder that elsewhere was selling at a lower price), so maybe that's why I said that.

But they're fine, I don't mind going to them sometimes... But I do prefer Orient the most still, actually. :)

Same here with b+w nano uv filter. About $200 when u can get for $80 but i suppose most stores make $ from selling higher margin filters.

Read the sticky threads, really. Do take note that those shops offering the lowest price will try harder to sell you other stuffs on top to make up for the lower price. If you are not familiar with accessories chances are good you'll end up with a low price for cameras and getting merciless chopped with useless filters and and other crap. Always do your homework.
