Best Image Size/Resolution for DVD to view on TV

I am doing a DVD of holiday photos for viewing on TV (4:3), and would like to know what is the best image size / resolution to set the jpegs for best display quality on TV.

it depends on the tv that you are watching it on

not all tv are equal

i tink the max dimensions for DVD is 720 pix wide by 576 pix tall, since anything higher res is discarded by most 4:3 TV displays.

you might wanna consider using NeroVision Express to create those still images, since it automatically resamples down to the required resolution you choose.
