i got a 190prob but dunno what head should i get when i'm using my A70. any advice?

Do you intend to buy a SLR or DSLR later?

A70 is pretty light. Most manfroto head will be good enuff.

IMO, a 352RC(with the rapid connect built-in so you won't need to get a quick release adapter) ballhead will be sufficient for your needs even if you decide to go for SLR systems with reasonably light lens. Not sure if it's discontinued or whether is Cathay Photo still bringing them in but I'd suggest you go down to CP at Peninsula Plaza and ask Chris or Steven. They'll be able to offer you advice also. :)

thanks guys. if i get a DSLR, i guess i will get a different head. i do realise my A70 is small and light like most consumer digicams so i wldnt wanna get a monster head also...just a simple and cheap one would do. since i already have a 190prob.. no point buying a cheap full tripod right.

A75 is one regenerate version for A70.

rethink abt it. maybe not a good idea to get the compact head cos there's no quick release. go with the smaller manfrotto ballheads available now. can visit Cathay Photo to take a look.
