Best DSLR, Mirrorless, Compact

DSLR: Lost touch so NA for me
Mirrorless: Sony Nex-F3 (Rotating screen and decent AF)
Compact: Olympus XZ-1 (Good price and decent IQ)

Dslr: Nikon D4. But if budget matters, A99
Mirrorless: sony nex-6 or oly om-d
Compact: rx100

 

[Reportage]

For general purpose, i would pick the Samsung EX2. F/1.4 with vari-angle lcd that fits into regular jeans pockets.

Then again, if need to smuggle in a telephoto for concert...mirrorless is pretty handy system to have. Dont even need a bag.

DSLR - Canon 1DX (incredible speed, great AF system, great lenses and accessories, incredible low noise performance), Canon 5DmkIII (good speed, great AF system, great lenses and accessories, incredible low noise performance) and Nikon D800/ D800E (great resolution)

Mirrorless - Olympus OM-D (fast AF, great control, ergonomic, size, weigh, weather resistance, great lenses and accessories)

Compact - Canon G1X (big big sensor - bigger than even the m4/3)

(just for the fun of it) mobile phone camera - iphone 5, Sony Xperia (dunno why, I just like them)
