Hi, just want to find out, besides Canon, which other camera brands provide free camera training? This might help potential buyers. Thanks!

Sidetrack a bit, sorry.
I bought a Canon A95 - got free training
Later bought a 350D - no free training by canon:dunno:

Not all Canon cam bought comes with free training, I know mine didn't. Probably it's an ad-hoc promotion.

Anyway training teaches you the functionality of the cam. Personally I feel that it's more important to practise and create your own style.

Hmmm.. I bought my 350D few months back and there's a free training thou it's not useful... I think nikon has free training for ppl who bought coolpix over the commex show, cause i'm working there.. Hahaha...

Anyone bought Pana, Sony, Casio etc which comes with free camera training?

Nikon offers a free training session too. Or at least they did when I bought a Nikon a few months ago.

Olympus offers both a workshop and an outdoor photographic expedition for every purchase of their DSLRs.

For Nikon DSLR, not free but very affordable. It is conducted at PSS by Steven Yee.

Err, yeah you are probably correct. I only remember seeing a card about Nikon training from Steven Yee/PSS inside the camera box when I bought my DSLR earlier this year.

I got free training from Olympus when I bought my C-750UZ.
