the pic is a bit over sharpened...

maybe u can use some fill flash too to light up the swan face.

Actually, i was hoping to achieve a super sharp surreal look. Kind of wanted the swan to look plastic. Something like this other shot i did some time back.

Dunno whether there is any point in that :bsmilie: Just trying to be original. Wonder how to achieve that and not have people think i've 'over' sharpened it. Heheh.
But yeah. Should have filled in the face of the swan with flash.

ah....ok i think i need to make myself clearer... :p

the reason why the 1st photo looks over sharpened is because in the 1st photo we can see the waves, and the sharpened effect is quite pronounced in the 1st effect.

but in the 2nd pic, the water is calm with no waves.. mmm.. another reason is because the sharpened effect kinda remove the silkiness of the fur of the swan :p unlike the 2nd pic which u sharpen it just rite, the fur still looks nice :)
