Beginners Outing(Part 23)-Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on the 21 August

Beginners Outing(Part 23) is here!

Details:

Date:21 August 2010(Its a Saturday!!!)
Time:8/8.30/9am till 1.30pm+
Place:Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
Who can/should join:Anyone(Beginner or Pro)with a camera!Be it a P&S,Prosumer,DSLR or Rangefinder!


Things to bring:

1)Camera
2)Lens(es)(If its a DSLR)
3)Water
4)Umbrella<-----Bring those that will protect you from the rain.Not those for strobist types...
5)Tripod(Optional but highly recommended)

Things you will/might expect to shoot:

1)Birds
2)Squirrels

Please take note(Important):

1)If you're using a P&S or Prosumer,only those who are using superzooms(E.g Canon SX20 or SX210) can join.If you're using DSLR,only those with lens range of ABOVE 250mm(On a APS-C body)/400mm(On a FF body) can join(Yes,you can use a TC)...

2)The only bus that stops in front of SBWR only runs on Sunday.As such,we'll be meeting at Kranji MRT and take taxi from there.1 cab can take 4 people and will cost about $1.40-$1.80 if the total fare is split between the 4 passengers.

3)SBWR charges $0.50(Child/Student/Senior Citizen)/$1(Adult) admission.So please bring coins unless you wanna pay for the whole group

4)If you're driving,you can park inside SBWR itself.Parking is free...
