Beginners Outing(Part 21)-Holland Village on the 7 August

Beginners Outing(Part 21) is here!

Details:

Date:7 August 2010(Its a Saturday!!!)
Time:8/8.30am till 12noon+
Place:Holland Village/Biopolis
Who can/should join:Anyone(Beginner or Pro)with a camera!Be it a P&S,Prosumer,DSLR or Rangefinder!


Things to bring:

1)Camera
2)Lens(es)(If its a DSLR)
3)Water
4)Umbrella<-----Bring those that will protect you from the rain.Not those for strobist types...
5)Tripod(Optional)

Things you will/might expect to shoot:

1)Streets
2)Candid
3)Architecture(Did i spell this correctly?)
4)Buildings

We'll be shooting around Holland Village from 9-10.30am and proceed towards Biopolis and shoot till 12noon+.Those who wish to leave early are welcome to do so

From Beginners Outing(Part 16) onwards...

As i dun want any mystery guests to turn up,exact details on meet-up time/place to be announced thru PM a few days before the actual outing date.

honestly... holland village is so small... and brisk walk around holland village only takes like 5 to 10mins... don't ask me why... but just some opinion from someone who stays just next to holland village for 25 years... lol

bro, u still staying there? didn't know u stay so near me! haha. Me at clementi.

yeah... HV is rather small.

Some suggestion:
1. Can explore the nearby train tracks (u can walk all the way to bukit timah if u want)
2. Can explore the new hi tech buildings opposite Buona Vista Mrt
3. Can explore this old abandon hse (tyersall house near botanic garden, quite near to HV) - This one can count me in also if u guys are interested cos i been wanting to go there. You can view photos of this house here. But i dun think too big group is a good idea for this exploration trip to this place.

Thanks for the recommmendations.Might include the train tracks at Buona Vista too

Ok this is not fair! I posted my name on a list the first time I wanted to join a group, I got yelled at and told to PM the person organising it. So this time I followed what I was told, only to find out that you just put your name on the list!! So I have missed out AGAIN!! because the rules keep changing. I would have been 4th on the list but now I guess I am just on the reserve list. So please if anyone drops out put me in.

Different organisers do it differently. That's why it is important to read the starting post to see what is expected. Don't worry, normally Cleon will expand his list especially with so many guides available and still got time for someone to back out.

1)Err i checked your previous posts and don't see that you've posted anything related to my outing(Except for this one).

2)I didn't change any rules.Only added the PM format(So that i don't get confused).

3)Regarding the '4th on list' part...you gotta quote the list and put your name down.You imagine if everyone who wants to join my outings does that...my PM inbox will explode right?
