Imagine a Beetle crawling into your ear while sleeping!!!

That was what happend to my mom last year.

She is shaken but fine. My dad went for several nights with tissue stuffed in his ears... :embrass:

Thank God the beetle did not bite through. But it got stuck and couldn't crawl out backwards...
GP could see a black line near the ear drum and tot it was a leg still lodged in there. But later we went to a specialist and it turned out to be a hair.

This brings up another thought... have any beetles actually managed to really go in deep? What happens in this case? It's quite scary as during this wet and humid weather now we have a lot of other insects such as flying ants emerging and who knows where they'll go when you're asleep.

actually it was quite common to have cockroaches getting into ears in the past. solution is to use vinegar to flush them out.

When I was new to cross country cycling, I used to cycle with my mouth open. Bad idea. Quite a few bugs flew into my mouth and down my throat. I'm not sure what they were, but I could feel the wings and legs of whatever it was.

Really, keep your mouth shut while cycling, man...

the purpose using water is the flush out insect as they float

when i was a kid, my cousin had a housefly which got stuck in his ear and my maid only extracted it out after some time...it was covered in earwax...
