Bed Bugs at Harris Hotel Batam Centre

I stayed at Harris Hotel Batam centre recently and was bitten by bed bugs.
Managed to kill a few bugs. The freshly bitten blood actually spilled on the bedsheet and on the ledge which I placed them on.
The duty manager at Harris hotel was shown the condition in the room.

The itch was horrible and lasted for days.
My belongings were damaged when I try to de-pest my stuff with hot water.

Hotel refuse to take responsibility. Any suggestion on what I can do?

Complain to the batam hotel. Post reviews on the travel deal websites. Not sure what you expect a singapore photography forum to do about an Indonesian hotel.

my suggestion:

give them chance. email and complain them. request apology and compensation (at least for treatment). if they nice, let the matter rest.

if they insist not their fault or bo chup, share ur story on travel forums, website, the country's ministry for tourism and anything u can think of.

i dont tink you shld expect compensation for ur hotwater-damaged items since it wasnt really their fault. maybe a small compensation at best.

The usual way to de-pest bedbugs is with sprays and powders that can be bought at any NTUC.

If you damaged your stuff by using hot water then it's your own fault.

Lorong 18 hotel bed bugs are more pleasurable.

Fortunately I never had contact with one of those in my life.
