1. in what area is critique to be sought?
I Hope to hear what the rest thinks of the composition as well as the exposure.

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
I would like to capture a typical morning where I stay. This was a spot en-route to school every morning and I felt the two flats on each side framed the position of the sunrise quite well. So that day I decided to take my phone out and compose the image.
The crane in the background and the bamboo clothes hangers further enhanced the silhouette I wanted to build up:)

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
This was taken around 0725. Noticed the sky was pretty clear.
This picture was taken with a camera phone and later editted on gimp slightly.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
I think I was lucky to have a good timing in which the sun was peeking through the building ahead. The sky was clear that day too.
I think my phone captured the image with quite a bit of noise LOL

It was a nice camera phone photo.
1. Composition a bit lacking, I thought if the gap between building a bit narrow might be better. A bit 'not here nor there' for the composition - there seems to be no main subject to be looking at once a person look at the photo.
