Be honest!

my most used lens: 24-70mm f2.8
my least used lens: 24-70mm f2.8

anybody want to sponsor me a lens? :bsmilie:

your lens is good enough to pawn all (except prime lens) within 24-85mm range :bsmilie:

but heavy though... :sweatsm:

24 to 85mm. I tot it was a 24-70 lens :bsmilie:

18-200 on my D40 100%

most used lenses :
85L and 24L for casual gatherings
12-24mm esp for landscapes / buildings
135L occassional usage

mamiya 24fe/35mm and recently 50mmshift for t/s, pano stuffs
mamiya 55mm/150mm - light leak with my t/s adapter .. not using anymore

and a heap load of nikon lenses
that i have not been touching for quite a while

Here's my setup:

Canon digital system:
1) 17-40L - 20% as I use this to shoot from the hip from time to time. Used primarily on trips as I find a UWA is indispensable.
2) 24-105L - 60% on the body most of the time as it really is a very functional, all rounded walkaround zoom.
3) 50 1.4 - 18% used whenever my f4 zooms are unusable in low light situations. My main portrait and studio lens.
4) 85 1.8 - 2% used on rarely as the focal length isn't as versatile as my other lenses. Am keeping though as it is a stellar performer :) great for upper half portraits and for a little action.

Nikon film setup:
1) 28 2.8 Ai - 50% on 1 film body at all times. Absolutely love my wide angles and this lens is a good performer. Use it out on the street where I primarily shoot.
2) 55 2.8 Ais - 3% just have to have this macro lens. Superb performance whenever used. Share this between my film and digital setup.
3) 50 1.8 series E - 2% rarely used at all as I prefer putting on the 55 2.8 for this focal range
4) 105 2.5 Ais - 45% on my 2nd film body. Absolutely adore this lens and it's performance for wide open street shooting.

Woohoo! Mine is Canon 18-55mm kit lens...only! :)

Nikkor 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 L (fav lens, even for streets)
Nikkor 18-105mm L kit (fav lens on IR cam, all purpose for travelling)
Sigma 50mm f1.4 L (when I need the "bokeh")

Other than that, my two other lenses are hugely underutilized but I keep them because sometimes they are needed.
Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.6 L (cheapo telezoom)
Nikkor 35mm f1.8 L (when I need to fit everything into pocket, or to complement 10-24mm in case I need a bit more zoom and don't wanna lug the kit lens).

The L is of course, non existent in Nikon lenses but I thought it'll be cool to have it there since I always envy Canon users with L behind their lens descriptions :vhappy:

I believe Nikon lens are already L by nature...don't need to declare further...:bsmilie:

Here's my set up guys:

1. Canon 18-55mm L  - mostly sitting on my dry cab (havent check for quite some time maybe got spiders or scorpions hiding inside)
2. CAnon 50mm 1.8 - walk about
3. Tamron 70-300 mm f4-5.6 - for taking pics of neighbours :nono::nono:

17-85mm, used 3 times before I went for 17-55, still thinking about what to do with it.
70-300mm, nature shots when light is sufficient or mid morning shots.
17-55mm, almost all the time
70-200 2.8 mk2, just got this ... likely to share primetime with my 17-55.
;)

Hmmm... Makes me re-evaluate my line-up and see what I can sell:

(all on full frame A900)
1. Sigma 12-24: When travelling, this is on my camera about 25%. Great great lens.
2. Carl Zeiss 24-70 f/2.8: My normal walkabout lens. 75% while travelling.
3. Minolta 50mm f/1.4: On my camera for about 20% of portrait shots.
4. Carl Zeiss 135mm f/1.8: On my camera for about 60% of portrait shots.
5. Sony 70-200 f2.8 G: On my camera for 20% of portrait shots, excellent F1 lens too. ;)
6. Sony 70-300 G: Nice long telephoto walkabout, great for zoo, birdpark, street shooting, etc.
7. Minolta MD 7.5mm Fisheye: A classic lens... really underutilized. Unbelievable fisheye effect. :(
8. Minolta 70-210 f/4 beercan: A 1986-made lens that still works perfectly... Underutilized.
9. Carl Zeiss Jena 28-200mm lens: Never seen another specimen of this again, very sharp, underutilized but DANG I don't wanna let go...

Ranked from most frequently used to least used:

1) 17-55mm - Most used walk about lens (50%)
2) 70-200mm - Zoom range whenever i needed it (30%)
3) 50mm - Whenever i needed a light setup or for portraits (15%)
4) 100mm Macro - Latest acquisition, used a few times for Macro (5%)

Nikkor 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 L (fav lens, even for streets)
Nikkor 18-105mm L kit (fav lens on IR cam, all purpose for travelling)
Sigma 50mm f1.4 L (when I need the "bokeh")

Other than that, my two other lenses are hugely underutilized but I keep them because sometimes they are needed.
Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.6 L (cheapo telezoom)

Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 > 60% my everyday walkabout lens, can take landscape, events, portraiture. I'm very impressed with its sharpness.
Nikkor 55-200 f/4-5.6 VR > 30% very good but cheap telephoto lens. I will try to use it on taking macro with raynox DCR-250
Nikkor 50/1.8D > 10% sharp, very nice bokeh, good for portraiture. Tried using with raynox DCR-250 for taking macro but find the subject too small in pics thus needs to crop

I used to have Nikkor 18-105 f/3.5-5.6 VR kit lens....
