What is the best battery brand for Nikon F80?
it came with Sanyo CR123. Should I buy the same brand in the future or other brand like Energizer Photo?

thanks

chris

Why not get the battery grip to use AA batts ?

Battery grip? how much would it cost keito-san and is it heavy? Will AA last longer than CR123?

thanks

chris

i think it's a 100+ ... not sure about the price.

AA batts can be rechargeable types mah, more economical :)

So if I were to stick to the CR123 battery, which brand should I choose?

thanks

chris

Sanyo seems fine...just make sure that if you know you'll not be shooting for quite while, just make sure to remove the batteries...it may leak and explode! Muahahaha ;)

You can use ANY brand of CR123 battery. Not necessary Sanyo brand, I prefer Energizer. I think Sanyo is a bit cheaper (lower price) compare to Energizer. They are all compatible with your camera.

Buying the battery pack is a good idea, as it gives more hand grip to the camera and making it more stable to hold. F80 is such a small camera...without battery pack, it seems like a toy...

Price of the battery pack (MB??) is S$110+- at CP. Invest once and you will save lots of money on CR123, especially if you are using built in flash often.
