Batt grip for D7000

Would like to know if it's advisable to use 3rd party batt grip like phottix one for D7000?

Get the original, you only need one error in the 3rd party grip to fry your camera

Personally, anything related to battery in the camera, I'll go original. Dont want my camera to fry if the 3rd party spoils one day.

Get the original unless you have tight budget. I am using Meike battery grip for my D300s for about a year. So far no issue. I got this because I don't need this for everyday use and it is freaking cheap as 1/4 of the original one price. Best is to invest in lens than accessories. J
