Hi all,
Thanks all for the responses of wanting to learn more about post-processing. So here's the good news. Through a friend, I have managed to get a place where I can conduct the workshop.
Brief details:
DATE: 29 Jan 2011 (Sat)
TIME: 1pm to 3 pm (may stay back for discussion/sharing of knowledge after the workshop if you like to)
PLACE: Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Clementi Road
And before you register, I hope to set the expectation right. First of all, I am a photography hobbyist like many of you. I learnt post-processing through books, internet and lots of practices. I uses Photoshop Elements primarily and recently also started using Photoscape, or rather a combination of the 2 softwares.

At best, this is the style you will be learning. Though the whole idea is to equip you with basic post-processing knowledge and my thought process so you can go on and experiment on your own.
What are some of the things I will be covering?
1) Using Photoscape --- using Photoscape editor
2) Some essential tools that should not miss out in Photoshop elements (e.g. layering/ cloning/ eraser tool/ selection tool etc)
3) Combining the 2 softwares for better effect
4) Post-processing Black and White Pic.
Note: I will not be teaching the software i.e. going through what you can do with every tools but rather I will be selective on the essential tools that I think can get one started.
You need not bring any laptops, there will be no hands-on. We can however have friendly discussion or sharing after the "class".
For the freeware Photoscape, you may download at:
http://www.photoscape.org
For a trial version of Photoshop Elements, you may download at:
http://www.adobe.com/ap/downloads/
see Photoshop elements 9 and click on "try"
This will be the first time I am conducting such workshop, if I didn't do a good enough job, pls feedback kindly.
Okay, details of the actual place will be released to those who confirm they can come. To do that, beside registering your interest here, pls reply me with private message of your HP number.
Limit to 40 pax: (last change to 45 pax due overwhelming demand and plus 5 more on reserve list)
