Not sure if anyone used this as a replacement over silica gel, is it recommended for camera storage?

Charcoal dust will be the last thing u want in your camera and lens.

It is not putting in the charcoal physically by the way, they are processed and packed into several pouches, something like this.

...The fine charcoal dust still travels...

Why give yourself all this headache when you can get a dry cabinet for cheap? Even second-hand!!

The last thing you ever want is a "ND" coating on your lens and or glass surfaces.

May be used for cupboard.... cam use dry cabinet

Yes I think the dry cabinets are a hassle free way of storing equipment. Can save the time and money on replacing the charcoal/silicon bags etc
