I got the Kingston 8GB compact flash (133x) card recently.

During the downloading of the pictures, the computer prompt me to format the compact flash. What the hell is going on with the compact flash card?!?! All my remaining pictures were lost!!!! I very piss off with this stupid card.

Did anyone face the same problem like me?

Why do you blame the card? There are plenty of other possible reasons and causes for what happened. Starting with that silly but colourful thingy called "Windows", pretending to be an Operating System.
Don't write to the card, use the data recovery tools provided with card or offered in Internet. A few of them were already mentioned and discussed here. As long as the card is not physically corrupted the data might be recoverable.

have around 6kingston cf's and almost equal amt of micro sd, etc. Works great.
Agreed, usually its the card reader's fault.

Normally it's a card reader problem.
And if it's UDMA .. worst still... some CF reader ( 3rd party ) can't read it.

I had the same problem with the 16GB version & I bought two recently. They started having problems with the camera. I haven't try to recover my files but they are condemned!

Anyone formatted yr CF cards 1st time u load it to your dslr?
I format before I use the CF card on my camera.
Interestingly, my 512MB CF Elite-Pro 50X had survive about 6 years of usage? (Before using my camera, I was using it on my GBA. lolx)
