what kind of equi i need to use?

lolx.. anymore comments ? pour all on me!!

Use your normal equipment, get a spare flash and body along if possible. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Bring extra batteries even if you have a powerpack, just bring some batteries along.

Bring some spare 400 and/or 800 flims, especially during dinner. Most shots will be indoor, except if the couple wanted outdoor shoots, thus the light will be quite dim.

Most importantly, don't get into the way of the main Photographer, try not to duplicate what he took, take things he missed out, you are there to compliment him, not to duplicate him.

If you can, take some shots of the small things.

You need a backup backup photographer? :D Heehee...

Just focus on the candid shots, these are shots the paid photographer will never have time to take.

ohoH!! nono, i might be the backup.. point noted! more more!!
gan xie ning :D

hey man, thank you very much for the time you took and let me know. gan xie ning! ;)

The list is only useful if you're shooting overseas. The flow is more on the western style, and is not very suitable for local usage.

Let me give a sample flow to a generic day of wedding in SG instead.

Morning
Bridal makeup
Family shots
Veiling of bride by parents

Groom arrives
Teasing & difficulties for groom
Groom enters
Groom unveils the bride
Groom kisses the bride

Tea Ceremonies (at both sides)
Group photos

Dinner
Bridal make up
Brothers & Sisters preparation for dinner (Emcees)
Autography of signatures
Shaking of hands of relatives/friends with families
March in
Cutting of cake
Taking seats
Change of clothes + march in again
Pop of champagne bottle
Pour of champagne on tower of glasses
Intertwine drinking for couple
YAM-SENG!!!!
Table shots
<Repeat the italics in opposite flow>

This is a pretty generic flow of what will happen in the morning and dinner, hope it gives some insight on what to expect and look out for. If there's a church involved between the shots let me know and I'll supply a generic flow too.

Cheers.

oh yah, me forgot... heheh.. thx espn!
