Back up hard disk!!

Just had my pc crash on me the day before, spend last night fixing it. Now hard disk with my pics cannot access (hard disk not formatted error) sian....
Learn my lesson to back up my stuff but the problem is if your back up also die how?
Anybody else had the same problem?

I had hard disk not formatted error recently.

Put in new hard disk, set up new system and after a few days, new hard disk also reported "not formatted... do you want to format...".

To cut story short, I think when I reset BIOS, FSB setting was reset to 100 instead of 133.

I used getdataback to recover most of my data.

Formatting doesn't delete the data it only destroys the FAT
