B&W with selective colorization effect

Hi! Any "Shi Fu" here can teach me how to PS a color photo to the B&W with selective colorization effect?....means a photo is converted to black and white, except for one object in the photo which is made to stand out by keeping it in color.

You need to play with layers.
Do one duplicate layer, one in colour, one in b&w.
Then use erase to PS off the B&W to reveal the colour part.
 

Convert it to B&W, then use history brush to paint back the colors.

Note that once u cropped/ resized the pic, history brush cannot be used. U will need to save it first for the brush to be active again.
