Any idea what the diff for UV filter and UV Haze filter?

I am thinking of getting Hoya HD UV filter or B+W 010, which perform better with Tokina 11-16

If you ask me, unless you are a person very particular about small variance of colour differences, the differences are negligible.

For B+W, there is only the clear protector filter, 007 type, and the UV haze filter, 010M. No difference for dslr usage, but sometimes one is cheaper than the other. Important thing is get one with MRC.

Tokina 11-16's hood is quite large. Can do without filter Would be ideal.

UV filters have no effect for digital bodies, except to product the lens, but theses filters comes in different glass quality
all filters affects IQ, increase flare, and some even affects focusing, so if can, its best not to use a filter.
