Great series, enjoyed viewing them.

I've never been to Ayer Hitam but it looks very interesting, not to mention a fertile place for photography.

Honestly, Ayer Hitam is seriously boring and there is practically nothing to do there but if you are driving on your way back from further up north e.g. meleka, KL, it is a good stop to get some nice pictures and some ramly burgers ;)

i dont think you are looking close enough there ..... plenty of street and people opportunities there.....

I think youre probably right. I meant it in the way of the town itself. Cause I've gone to quite a number of small malaysian towns and after awhile simply said repetitions gets boring. But I agree the rustic feel of the town is a photo haven! :)
