Autofocus cannot work after knocking lens

I recently knocked my lens against a pillar whilst the lens was attached to the camera....After that the autofocus could not work. Is the problem with the lens or is the problem with the camera now?

Try another lens on the body and you'll be able to tell.

is your lens in MF or AF?

as others suggest, try another lens. alternatively, pass to someone else to try your lens. if lens can focus on theirs, then is your camera problem... etc etc blah blah blah.
