Hi Everyone!

Wondering wats the use of an aspect ratio ?
Can it make any difference to ur picture?

I clearly dont understand the purpose of it.. Would be nice if anyone could explain it to me about it.

It just affect your output image dimension. If you are not using the native aspect ratio of the sensor, you will end up not using some sensors areas. That's about it.

let say your have a DSLR and the aspect ratio is 2:3, you have no issue of cropping when you need to print a 4R (aspect ratio of 2:3) photos out of it, but if you need to print a 5R (aspect ratio of 5:7) or 8R (aspect ratio of 4:5) photo, you need to crop it to the same aspect ratio of the paper size you want to print, else either you have some parts of the images being crop way or unwanted white borders on both side.
