Asking for explanation of "mirror image"..

dear all,

i took this picture during one of the ktv session, and can see a very obsvious mirrow image of the "tv screen".. I wonder if it is a problem with the lense or what....

anyone got relevant experience to share with? or any advice?

Appreciate any comment/idea...

i was using the Nikon 50mm f1.8 lense..



Camera: NIKON CORPORATION NIKON D90
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/1.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
Focal Length: 50.4 mm
ISO Speed: 800
Exposure Bias: +1/3 EV
Flash: On, Return detected

You have a filter on? :)

If so, that's the main reason.

i only have the "UV filter" on the lense....

meaning, no UV filter in the room condition?
Look at your lens. It's already very deep inside. When you add a piece of optic so far away from the front element of the lens, it will cause a reflection when you shoot night images (with bright spots)

removing the filter will remove this problem.

And you don't need a filter for the 50mm anyway. :)
