i think personal experience will be sufficient? i dunno if u understand the tech terms. i'll rather judge on photos rather than on specs

actually it depends. Sometimes for certain credit cards or member cards, can be quite worthwhile to get during show. Instalment plans are also available if i am not wrong.

its just luck if you meet a promoter who knows just where the product stand among the rest rather then comm-whores who will say anything to close sale.
