Surprisingly I was a bit underwhelmed by the stores there. Saw a cheap Mamiya 7 which got me excited until I saw fungus on the lens

For one of the more reputable shops, that was a real bummer

I find bnew lenses prices in Japan is very good this is after Tax rebate (on the spot) and plus store discount... I find that 2nd hand prices compare to bnew is not much difference (in Japan) provided you know where to buy... the usual suspect like Yodobashi and Bic Camera are all tourist trap prices there are not good... MAP Camera is one of the ok prices other are Fujiya they are selling Voigtlander at a very good price way way better than Singapore only down side lenses are only local Japan warranty...
