Saw a few night shot with 2 white dots. Therefore decided to leave the lens cap on and take a few picture and notice a few dots at Shutter speed of 1 sec

8 Sec

16 Sec (at this level should be noise right?

all taken with ISO 100. Does this means that my cCD is dying?

I think it's noise.

On the other hand, are you sure you are not taking pictures of stars? ;p

Those are hot pixels.
They're neither dead, nor noise.
The longer the shutter speed, the more will appear.
The number of hot pixels on your cam looks normal.

Try taking 2 for each shutter speed.

If the 'stars' appear in same spots, then it's the pixels.
