Going to japan for a business trip in November, would DSLRs be cheaper over there? I'm considering getting either a D80 kit or the Sony Alpha A-100 kit.
sony alpha will of cos be cheaper. D80 was build to be in the midle of D70s and D200 which also means it is of a slightly higher class than sony alpha.

I think you misunderstood me. I meant to ask if Sony Alpha is cheaper in Japan compared to Singapore, not if Sony Alpha is cheaper than Nikon D80. Similarly, I'm also wondering if D80 is cheaper in Japan compared to Singapore.
