Are Cameras/lens in Osaka cheaper than here?

cos i'm going osaka soon, thus i wonder if anyone here who is familiar with osaka can advise me on whether i can get better deals there and if so, where to go.

Yo bro,
I was there for 2 weeks in Osaka and the price is not cheap. Given the fact that yen is rising, you would be better off buying it in Singapore.

I was comparing the prices for D90 kit with 18-55mm lens. Converting it to S$, it was $2,400 in Osaka where it is $1,800 here in Singapore.

I am curious to find out whether the D90 sold in Japan is "Made in Japan" and those sold in Singapore is "Made in <not-Japan>".
