Apple CEO Steve Jobs today unveiled a range of new products during his morning address at Macworld Conference and Expo 2008 in San Francisco. Of interest to photographers is Time Capsule, a combination of Airport Extreme wireless router and either a 500GB or 1GB hard drive, and MacBook Air, an ultrathin 3 pound laptop featuring a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display and a 64GB flash memory "hard drive" as an option.

Very Nice.

Strange that they offer 500GB or 1GB choices. Wouldn't it be 1TB instead?

but only 1 single HD is dangerous.
agreed... with Apple's ability at integrating parts into a whole, seems surprizing that they did not just make it a RAID1 or RAID5 storage system... maybe there will be such an option in the future...

I wonder whats the life span of OLED display
some reports indicate it should be 3 yrs or so.
Make sure you get the Apple extended warranty :D

Tat's e typical lifespan of a notebook niwae. If u'r using a notebook for more than 3 yrs i'l b surprise as it's probably b a living dinosaur.

Is there any similar product in the market? Is the tech patented by apple? I won't be surprised if similar products will flood the market in the very near future.
