Since Apple can cooperate with Leica to produce this rangefinder digital camera, they may be open to other areas of cooperation in future.

The supposedly low-cost iPhone 5C did not sell well.
But the high priced gold iPhone 5S sold out fast.
The market proved that ironically the more expensive they are, the greater the demand.

This consumer behavior rings a bell with Leica.
Maybe they can feature Leica lenses in future expensive iPhone top models.

In 2012 Apple filed for a patent on an iPhone with interchangeable lenses. Separately, in 2013 Apple received a patent on a new kind of camera for mobile devices, one with a triple lens and triple sensor design.

Again, your reading comprehension skills are lacking. IT IS NOT APPLE that designed this camera, nor do apple's patents have anything to do with it.
Ive does a lot of designs, he's not exclusive to Apple.
