Aperture ring for lenses without?

Dear all, has anyone heard of such a thing, where some lenses do not have an aperture ring, but are able to fit on an external aperture ring made by third party manufacturers? Just wondering if there was such a device, as it would make for some interesting options, such as using the DFA100 macro or the upcoming DA50 on old film cameras haha

Works on mirrorless cameras with very short flange distance.

Dont think it exists and probably wont work on pentax film cameras. The added length will probably cause the lens to not focus to infinity.

if you get those A, P, MZ series film camera, you can use the DA lens on them, no problem,

the K, M series film camera may not able to do that, unless you tape the aperture leveler to make it always wide open, the still metering on the K M film cameras.
