The APEC Photo Contest 2014 invites all amateur and professional photographers to capture through a photograph how trade is reflected in their life and in the daily lives of people around the Asia-Pacific region.
Submissions for the APEC Photo Contest 2014 opens 6 August 2014. Participants can provide up to three of their best photos stating in each one of them, their interpretation of any one of the three APEC priorities for 2014.
The Judging panel composed of globally renowned photojournalist will select the Grand Prize Winner who will receive a SGD $2000 dollars prize. Second and third prize winners will receive a SGD $1,500 and SGD $1,000 dollars prizes respectively. Photo submissions closes 19 September 2014.
Additionally, the photo that receives the most votes will receive the APEC Popular Choice Award along with an SGD $1,000 dollars prize.
