Anyone working in India?

Hi just want to know if anyone who's working in India or worked in India before, especially Mumbai/Bombay? I would like to know

1)Working culture)
2)Ease of adapting into the local culture
3)Are there many expatriates there?
4)Is it a cosmopolitan place?
5)How safe is it for your wife/gf to go there with you?

That's all I can think of now. If you have any experience, pleasant or unpleasant, do share. Thanks

i had been posted there for 3 week.
1)what i feel is the place is very dusty.
2) Your stomach must be strong otherwise can easily will get diarrhoea.

In Bombay? Form what I gathered, it's a very busy city. However, I'm unsure if I'm able to adapt to life in India. As for food, are there other places to eat, other then road side stalls, since you mentioned having a strong stomach is a pre-requisite.
