anyone using ST-E2 light transmitter?

Just wondering does it have a auto-focus beam on it for better focusing? Can i use it with my 420EX? or onli dedicated to 550EX?

yes, it have the AF beam and it work beautifully.
YEs, you can use it to control the 420EX.

yes i use the ST-E2.

it's great for low light focusing. no wait, it's great for NO LIGHT focusing - u can literally focus and shoot in complete darkness up to the maximum range of the ST-E2.

i use it for cordless off camera flash with my 420EX as well. (though i seldom do portraits, but when i do use it, it works perfectly well)
