I've used blogspot and it was a PITA to use as I've difficulty even in putting up my photos as it had to be in the reverse order and there is no built in stats.
I find that wordpress is much more user friendly.

I'm using 'edit' html codes mode for the pictures; pasting the codes from the main photo storing web -- myphotoalbum.com). The other thing is I am sorting the albums by labels (create number).
Kind of used to it and also, too lazy to explore something else.

nope. its a manual addon gadget. go online google for a counter and just use the code as a gadget.
