I know it a huge affair but yet to attend one before. I saw lot of preparations at Thailand (Hatyai) when i was there.

ya, i know about this temple and last sunday just pass by there and saw there is stage for the traditional chinese "大戏".

Just not shot about the date or details of this huge event.

Yes, you are right. It is further away from CCK CC. Last Saturday, I saw the temple personals had "invited" the Gods to their temple to bless the devotees for a week. It is an annual event where there are huge parade with trucks decorated in colorful lightings. Even the sedans which are used to carry the "Gods" are also decorated. Just like a mini chingay

The devotees will take turns to carry the sedans to temples. You can easily recognized them as all of them are wearing full white.

I think there is a sent off ceremony this weekends, not sure Saturday or Sunday. Normally starting from 8.00pm. Currently, there are celebrations every night.

Please take note: If you are taking photography on the event. Please ask permission. Some of them may not like it unless you are their devotee. But there is another way. is to use the tele lens and take picture from 2nd floor of the neighbourhood flat or from road side.

I normally, will take images of their parade from my place.

BTW, if you are hungry, there is a MacDonald nearby for your dinner.
