Thanks a mil

Ask Raptor1 or do a search. He has posted before.

Expired yogi posted this but not sure if it's his new Oly system

ExpYog, can u confirm? Nice shots btw.

Edited: Found the answer --> he was using "D70 with a cheap 50mm/1.8 =)"

Hi,
i posted a Portrait shot here. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=169519

Well, i hadnt posted any macro shoots as my shoots mainly suffer from handshake and harsh flash. Well, skills aside, if you wish, i would post some 100% crops of those.

EDIT:
All done ^_^

Note: All are unedited 100% crops. No PS nor resize done. Hopefully those are what you are looking for. Sorry for the links and not embeded images, as some of the pictures are kind big.

Thanks v much Raptor.

Now I confirm will get the 50mm.

Question. When u get so close to insects, dun they try to move away?

Yes. They will try to get away. Slow and steady wins the race. ;)
Well, what i did for the insects was, i manual (pre)focus the lense. Then i slowly position the camera forward/backward to get the focus and snap the picture. The auto focus didnt work for me as it creates too much movement causing the insect to be startled.

Here are a couple of my early 50mm shots. Sorry about some quality issue like not enough DOF etc.

f8.0, 1/100s, ISO 320, Bounced flash, handheld:

No cropping but just resized for all portraits shots. Some cropping on the macro shots.

Hope these help.

Hmmz, must train more liaoz. :S

Thanks and I should say credits go to the Olympus E-system.

Trouble-free and good lenses line-ups are important for me to take all these photos.
