Any bros here got this lens? a Tamron SP AF17-35MM F/2.8-4 Di LD Aspherical. Any comments about this lens and the price? Thanks in advance.

E-quote from MS Colour 6 weeks ago is $835 w/o GST... Not very competitive compared to the Canon 17-40L which is about $1200+ w GST...
