Heard about the hype of wagyu (marbled beef) served there... is the food good? any idea of the average cost for 2 hearty eaters? :)

yup tried it awhile back, dinner for two (we're small eaters) bill came in around $70+. foods pretty good though. You have to make a reservation if you intend to go, they always seem fully booked. Only opens for dinner, tel 6333 4001

Ps. If i remember correctely they have a menu outside the restuarant can go check it out if passing through.

There is another new outlet at UE Square - Clemenceau Ave.
You can try there if it is too crowded at Chijimes....

The portions tends to be a bit small for me....or perhaps I am a big eater...;p

The food so-so nia.

Then again, I'm biased. Since I work in Japan very often nowdays.

The beef here is not as tender as the ones I tried in Japan's fancier beef places.

Wah lau... make me hungry again. *Checks calender for next meeting in Japan*

Thanks guys :)

I was wondering if i should spend more to try this or save money and go to PepperLunch instead; the beef there isn't bad at all. :)
