as mentioned in the subject.

Basically my problem is this.

i m going on a vacation, and i am short on memory. i do not want to spend money to rent those image tanks either, as i find the price still steep for my budget.

so i thought of an idea, i dug up my old laptop, and took a usb to ps/2 converter from my mouse, and tried to convert the camera to ps/2.

as quite expected, it did not work. is there any way to make it detectable? i also want to attach a zip drive to it via same conversion.

and i know it will be donkey slow. i do not mind as long as it will work.

if anyone wants to sell a pcmcia USB card, i will gladly consider if price is low enough.

thank you.

USB to PS/2 converters?

I thought those only worked for USB mice? I doubt they'll work with any USB devices as all the drivers are for USB only.

You should consider getting the PCMCIA USB card.
