the one you can take a train in.

what's the name of the shopping center there?
worth going for a peep?
is it safe driving there?
is parking secure there?
how long does it take to reach there and from which checkpoint?
anyone has the gps coordinates for it?

TIA!

not safe driving a fanciful care there, parking unsafe (can be towed) :x

You mean CITY SQUARE near the custom ? I think 5 min walking distance.

is this the one where you can take a train from keppel that stops right in front of the shopping complex?i dont think this is the one right?
cos iirc, the train ride is about 45 mins?

been to danga city mall before.. nothing much there in terms of shopping.

got indoor paintball, archery and bowling on top floor.

the taxi ride from the JB customs is under 10 mins.. no idea abt car parking.

there's apparently a free shuttle bus from JB customs checkpoint on wkends.

don't trust the train service as trains are often delayed or cancelled at the last min.

Actually.. unless ur driving a ferari or lamborghini, ur car are not considered "nice" that it will highly targeted.....
but note that high percentage of auto theft in jb involve luxury SUV....
As for robbery, parang and such, its actually not exceedingly high compared if u go holiday in india, indonesia, africa, etc....
Unless of cause u compare to our low crime rate in singapore, i would catagorised jb crime rate as normal. Just play safe, don't show off....

thanks guys for all the inputs.

yes, i want to bring my gtr to stretch her legs.
i know about the crime rates and such.
I could drive other cars there but they are either MPVs or SUVs.
and i was told these cars are even targetted MORE compared to other cars.
so how?:dunno:

i just received an sms from a cser and that the gtr there cost about 1million ringgit with taxes.
not sure how true.

Don't go there alone.

Ask the Kungfu Master in CS to go with you. :)
