hi, thinking of doing some bird shoots at sungei buloh in the coming few months. does anyone have any tips on doing so? i am pretty new to this arena of photography and your inputs will be much appreciated.

a long long lens and a triport are a MUST

then dun forget the mozzy replients....

lastly, better be there early (free entry before 8am).... once the birdies caught their worms, they go take cover.... until the next meal

Go now. The warders are in. Stay at main hide. There are plovers, sandpipers and egrets on sunday.

Tried with a 420mm lens and still the birds are far away... sigh... :(

So moral of this story is: Long lens is definitely your friend!
