Just curious.... Does anyone know of a cosy nice place to take your gal for a dinner? With or without view is ok. Just good ambience and nice food.

Budget maybe $30-50 per person. Thanks for any suggestion.

make your own candlelight dinner. get a bottle of good wine, cook for her and invite her to pasir ris park at around 5-6pm. you have a nice sunset and the ambience is really good. budget: depends on what you want to cook

in that case try la cantina at changi village hotel. ask for al fresco dining to get a good view.

If it were me, somewhere that either has a beach view (sentosa? or La Cantina looks a potential) or a mountain view (mt faber?), to watch the sunset and after dinner we could go for a walk to watch for shooting stars (needs to be quite a dark location which not sure SG can offer)........or to sit at the end of a pier watching the tide and make stones skip on the surface.

There is also a restaurant in Botanical Garden (have not tried it) that has a great location off the orchid road side. Understand it serves French food and is also rather pricey but worth checking into.
