Any recommendations for LCD Display Hygrometer?

If you think LCD hygrometer does not use batteries then it's taking power from dehumidifier's power supply. Check if red LED is on as this is the power light indicator, then the green LCD light is on too as this indicate dehumidifier is working. If both lights are not working then hygrometer display is blank and dehumidifier is not working also. Have a look of my tear down of a 30 L model as they are similar.

For a standalone hygrometer you can go to Sim Lim tower basement or 3rd. flr. choose one that is below $30. Humidity + temperature reading.
This is also to check how far off or close is your digi cabi meter is with the standalone hygrometer.
